Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has partnered with Fire Safe Sonoma and is providing funding for a roadside fuel reduction project and 20 Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) home assessments to help further reduce wildfire risks.

The approved project amounts are $75,000 to fund a roadside fuel reduction project on Fitch Road near Healdsburg, California and $4,000 to complete 20 Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) home assessments countywide on a first-come-first-served basis.

The purpose of these programs is to support wildfire risk reduction efforts carried out during the 2020 fire season. All project fieldwork must be completed no later than November 30, 2020.
