Fire Safe Sonoma is busy, busy, busy!
With the spring season in full swing, the crew at Fire Safe Sonoma has been enjoying time spent engaging with our community members at the many exciting events happening around the county!
From Earth Day to Wildfire Preparedness Month, we have spent much of our time celebrating and educating at farmer’s markets, parades, schools and more! The Sonoma Valley Emergency Preparedness Fair, the Windsor Earth Day event and Cool Petaluma’s Future Fest are just a handful of examples of our recent outings. Along with the Resilient Landscapes Coalition, we’ve been spreading the word about community preparedness, evacuation best practices, defensible space and home hardening!
For more fire safe fun, join us at our Sonoma County Wildfire & Earthquake Expo on June 1st at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds! At the expo you can enjoy a free giveaway and food, browse exhibits and state of the art solutions, experience live simulations and more. Catch us there for an exciting day full of both education and fun!
